I've labeled each thing I'm typing up so you can just read choice notes if you want.
_Quick Note:
I'm not using any color in my 3DCC, but I am how ever using a wallpaper with color. But it doesn't have any good shades of red. So I figured the best thing to do would be use a white 3DCC. Because I just had to do a desktop with this wallpaper. I couldn't resist, the car is awesome! And yes some women like cars. =P
_Why I wanted to use Litestep:
Ever since I first got on a computer and used Windows I hated the way you have almost no control over how Explorer looks. When I found out about shell replacement I tried a few, and ended up using BBLean. But what I always wanted to try was Litestep. Except from the looks of most screen shots it looked very complicated. I always thought it was to complicated for me, a bit over my head. At first I thought I was correct in thinking it was over my head. I almost gave up, but then I looked through other themes and finally figured out how some things are done. See what I always wanted was full and complete control over my shell. And I knew Litestep was the way to go, but I was intimidating by it lol. But I just decided to go for it, and so far I'm liking it a lot, my setup is a lot like how I had BBLean though. There's still more things I'd like to add to this theme but I'm not quite sure how to do 'em yet.
_About the theme I'm using:
Okay I went through ALL 376 Litestep themes on Custo and found exactly ONE I liked. It's called Sheep, but after trying to load it, my LS crashed. So I tried a couple others, I liked almost every thing about Tokidoki except the color scheme. But that one turned out not to be as configurable as Gear said it was, to me any ways. So I went looking through ones I just liked at least some of the setup of. Not necessarily the colors or any thing. And after many tries I came across Classic by Co1e. It wasn't to close to how I wanted it at all, but I managed to change enough to make it close to what I wanted. I took off the taskbar, moved the systray to the right, added hotkeys, and changed the menu. Now I can go to the hotspot on the right, or toggle the systray with a hotkey. And the only things I want to add to it is a scrolling systray, which I just can't seem to do. And a e-mail checker, which I should be able to do by using Mojomonkee's tutorial. But I have read up on LsBox, LsMail and Label before I do that. Which I will have to do later or tomorrow. But once I get those two things I will have the setup I always wanted. The only weird thing about LS I just can't get used to is the task switching thing. On BBLean I tried BBTaskSwitch and it was just like Alt+Tab but with text labels. The switch in Litestep I got to use Alt+Tab. But it still selected with the mouse which is pointless if I wanna use Alt+Tab. =(

Any ways that was really long I know, I'm sure most of you won't even read it. But if any of you are curious as to why I tried Litestep, and my thoughts on it about themeing it go ahead.
great dtop Pyro_, the wall is great, and that car is just awesome, the litestep and the 3DCC really mix well together, this one is prolly the dtop you made I liked the most, keep up the good work
Thenut, All right that's awesome you read it all. =D So far I'm having fun with Litestep. Update:Moskow, Thank you very much, I tried to get every thing to flow nice and cleanly. I LOVE THE CAR! =P Update:J3_Concepts, For some reason when I start typing I just can't stop hah. Thank you very much. Maybe you might be looking for sleek? Or slick? And I know WinT posts pretty long notes and I've read every one of those. But other then that I don't think any one else that I've seen posts in-depth notes. Especially since most people don't want to read long notes. Update:Sticboy, Why thank you. =D Update: You're welcome J3_Concepts. =P Seeingred, Thank you, it's one of my favorite cars. Classic Fords are the best! >_< ScipioX, Thanks. I'm actually very minimal, I'm surprised you could tell. Especially with the busy wallpapers lately. And I always include many windows to show every thing I've done. And I'm glad I gave Litestep a try. Just gotta get on my computer more to use it more lol.
quite possibly the longest designer notes in customize.org history. but all notes aside, this is a very well put together desktop... i think the word i'm looking for is "classy"... sleek maybe?! it just seems to flow together well, very pleasing to the eyes. nice work. in all honesty maybe all designer notes should be that in-depth! thanks on the spelling correction =^_^=, i suck at spelling!
nice one *i want that car!* too minimal for me but that's just my opinion. other than that, everything fits very nice. listestep is great, so good you gave it a try. good job.
