Artist's Note
Its done in the crappiest machine, im using flight for wallpaper, simpleplan 1.0 and one of those serenity icon packs.
this post is not intended to show mi customizing, but to find someone who shares my taste.
And I also wanna thank the designers of all the things i´ve mentioned above.

This is just my opinion, but I think opening the winamp and showing the default icons like that is quite unique to the customizing crowd.
Notice how well the lightning bolt matches in with the rest of the interface, and how the blue winamp skin matches in with the Icons.
That in itself immediately made me see a certain color scheme going on.
However, winamp by itself does not fit.

i don't know what to say about this. You where going for a nice customizing look but that decided to keep some default stuff. Whats up with that ?

you should have recolored the winamp to match the theme better....nice ss though

too default, winamp doesn't match..you have default folder icons...need to improve this.

screenshots are submitted to showcase customization.. to inspire or to show ideas on how to customize the shell/desktop...not just putting themes/skins together...

Excellent job nubis. oh, and the screenshot is great too. This is the main reason why I am afraid to submit a screenshot. That plus I cant get icon packager to work with litestep for whatever reason.

as in the designer notes, i just wanted to find someone who shares my taste. Everyone starts customizing from the wallpaper, o from a visual style, or from nothing, I started this desktop triying to find things that matched default icons playing with my favourite skins/wall/vs, the only one who mannaged to see it was cardboard. and maybe shocks.
I just love the way you instantly "shut down" an original approach of customizing.
if I want great ratings, then i just upload one of those "it looks like I have a MAC" screenshot. And stickboy, when it comes to taste, you can like it, or not, but you cant say whats good and whats bad.

im sorry, i didnt want to waste your time whit my crazy concepts. Im not posting anything else here, since its more your forum/site than mine.
I think this place isnt ment for encouraging personality, but to follow the ideal of beauty of a few.
But, I really hope you can learn to give a human life´s crontibution the value it deserves.
