Got my new laptop about an 2 hours ago!

dirty. and not in the good way. time to fire up reshacker and do away with all those nasty stock icons in your quicklaunch. y'z toolbar to get rid of ie buttons. and 3dcc to match window colors to bakground. winamp's not bad, but could be better(a little better, it's pretty good, though).
