zax0r: you've lost your mind. That's windows XP using some icons & skins from the GNOME project. Good lord, if you haven't seen a default GNOME installation, you'd see that it definitely does not try to mimic windows.

i dunno, dont want to be pissy but that's just a BIG NO NO again, and i dunno what exactly did u want to show us with this ss. it's not hard to apply a standard vs and to replace some dlls. to help u out a bit i'll just add some opinions to make ur dtop a bit more acceptable. the sysmeter fits absolutely not to the style, try to find or to build a fitting config, u can search them at neowin, deskmod...the calender is ok but u could change the blue to a yellow and kill the quicklists or if u cant live without them, please use other icons...there are also much better walls for gnome schemes available. try to play around with winamp, try to find a good postion for it hmm..and why did u open a blank notepad? maybe u forgot to add the infos u eventually wanted to show us..hmm...i guess i added now perfect food for the comment critics here..anyways try to overwork it

that 'sysmeter' is gkrellm. even if it doesnt match, it looks linux-like. gkrellm never matches desktops. haha. anyway, this isnt really much. i was expecting a gnome-panel lookalike instead of a winxp taskbar.
