i think the splash of color just adds to the flavor. but thats just me. i like it. the right section filled with, blackness, seems a lil stupid tho. and the placement of that window manager could be better.

This is nice. You took care of most all details. I like how you pulled off the high contrast. The IRC looks real good too. Like drai mentioned; the black column on the right needs some work, or to be removed. Nice job though. Lookin' forward to more!
