Artist's Note
Finally installed XP. This OS sucks so hard. I have gotten 8 blue screens since formatting a week ago.

Your XP would look alot better if you did'nt try to make it look like OSx. Nothing matches here, it would really look good if you were to conentrate on one color and theme your shot after that one color.

questions - what's the stylexp (unless you have windowsblinds), and what'd the dock thing on the bottom. also, the bsod does exist (looks like the win2k one) i have gotten before because of a faulty ram chip. but not 8 times (from different circumstances).

Actually, no. All you have to do is untick an option and you get blue screens instead of unexplainable reboots.
Oh yeah, if you want my opinion read Max's comment.

im just gonna rate the screenshot and not the idiot comments he said. ok first off Mac OS-X s00ks, and it looks horrible. Why would you ever want to try to emulate that? There is no way to make those big ass icons look pretty. If anyone succeeds in doing this, i will go and buy a mac and use it forever. But since that will never happen, I guess im stuck using my PC (p4 1.7 512 megs of ram, with 100 gigs of space and a geforce 4). Other then that you have an almost decent color scheme with the winamp, the windows skin, and the icons. The wallpaper really doesnt fit in there at all so you might wanna change that.

Actually, there Are blue screens of death in XP.. but it is when the OS completely crashes and has to do a dump onto the HD, then it just restarts and comes back up. Atleast in my experience that is what has happened when I've gotten a BSOD in XP. BTW... Nice looking theme, what are you using for the dock bar.. Desktop X?

osx is pretty, dunno if I can say so much for this particular imitation. And btw, the VisualStyle he's using is called Smoothstripes (its by KOL), Dextro.

not bad for what you are trying to do... could match a bit better tho. BTW, ntreal, have you tried turning off XP's many services?

Are you kidding? I have gotten so many blue screens. I will post a blue screen that I get from infinite loops if you think I am stupid and do not know what I am talking about. I got one and I took a pic of it with my digital camera. =) Who is owned now? Dextro: it is SmoothStripes and the bottom bar is called MobyDock. Their site is down now.
