yes its real. the HDD comes out in September, the network adapter comes out this August and the Linux software comes I think around October (everything is out in about the next 4-6 months). PS2 owns. and yes colossus, the HDD works with games (FFX is the first game to utilize the HDD).

actually, they got a "package" which comes with the 40gig hard drive, network adapter, usb keyboard and mouse, and linux OS, for around 200bucks i believe, comes out at the end of may.
