Artist's Note



View your Facebook friend requests, inbox messages, and notifications on your desktop with Rainmeter 2.1. Also allows you to post status updates to your wall without opening a browser.

Version 1.0.1 (Released Oct 23rd, 2011)
- Fixed bug that caused the skin to contract when clicked outside the status update textbox and then not show the arrow to re-expand.

Configuration Instructions:

1. Install skin
2. After Rainmeter restarts, the skin should load automatically
3. Right click the skin and click the first menu item - FBNotificationBar
4. The skin folder will open and you should see a shortcut named "ConnectWithFacebook"...open it
5. You will be prompted to log-in to Facebook and authorize the application
6. After authorization you will be redirected to a confirmation page
7. Copy & paste the two values from the confirmation page to your UserVariables.inc file in your skin folder...The top value is UserId and the bottom value is AccessToken
8. Paste your Facebook Notifications RSS feed url into your UserVariables.inc file and save it.
9. Refresh the skin

Nice software, but has problems with german umlauts when showing messages, notifications or friend requests. On the wall it´s ok. Can you fix this problem? That would be great.
