Artist's Note

Hi!

So yea, I wanted a tiny app on my desktop that would allow me to easily check if my router and servers are online or not. I could not find such a skin, thus figured I should code one myself.

!!! Please note that this skin is built to work in a LAN-environment only !!!
If you want to use this skin for internet locations you should use a different skin - or if you want to build your own check the wiki for the ping-plugin (has an example) or search the forums, there are plenty of threads with this topic.

I added a few comments in the ini-files, but most should have no trouble customising this anyway.

And lastly I wish to say thanks to jsmorley and Koopz, who've helped me on IRC (#rainmeter @ freenode.net) and endured my stupid nagging questions ;) [Brian] too, for fixing stuff. Awesome!

I hope you'll find this useful.

P.S.: I'm already working on an improved r2, which however will require a certain beta-version. If you're sticking to 2.4 Final this is for you, otherwise I should have an r2 ready soon-ish :)

Great ! I,ve played with it a bit and put everything in one ini file. I was wondering if there is a way to not only read the IP but also get who's connected ? EX: I've got a router. 7 connections are connected to it, for 7 pc's I've got at home. Each one of those pc's has a name. If pc named Rick is connected to IP 999.999.999.999 , I want to see the name Rick and if it is connected. Is this possible ? maybe have a line like "IP 999.999.999.999 is online by %1" ??? thanks :)
