for some reason i cant get it to work
do you think you can include directions on how to set it up?
on a sidenote, thank you SO MUCH for the port. I've literally been looking for a non-litestep port of this for MONTHS.

on a side side note, can you rig it so that it "pops up" everytime a new email is received, and then hides/docks itself when inactive?

I'm having some trouble getting my to work. I've made sure that the email and password is set up correctly, but it seems to be stuck on "loading.." It never changes. Not sure what I could do to fix this.

Alright, so I got the "loading.." to go away, and now the problem is that it never displays the number of unread messages in my inbox and the drop down menu is also always blank. :(

i managed to get this working right out of the box. There were afew visual bugs but im working on cleaning it up and ive changed up all of the images.
ill post my version on my account soon.

I'm currently having the same problem as Scott101. I really want this skin too.
It doesn't seem to be connecting to my gmail even though I edited correctly. I've tried changing my password and editing it again to verify that it wasn't a problem with numbers in my password.
Pleas explain anything else that may be wrong D:

This is a nice skin, but it has problems. I am having the same problem as traceyami with the skin. I did what you explained in the instructions, but all it is showing is that I have messages when I know there are none. And there is no numerics showing to show me how many emails I got. There needs to be more instructions on configurations. I've noticed where it says substitute there is this #substitute#. What am I supposed to substitute? Need more instructions on this, thanks.

So, I've read thru all the posts of this skin NOT WORKING. However, IT DOES WORK.
YOU HAVE TO HAVE AT LEAST 10 UN-READ messages in your inbox for the '>' to be updated with the message subject lines.
I agree that this limiting factor should be set to 1 rather than 10. Or at least have the header where "new messages" is displayed to read something like "1 New Message" or "2 New Messages 223 Read"
I think many folks like the clean look of this app.

hey do you think you can make this a skin download? many of my friends are newbies,and dont know how to do it from ZIP or RAR or what ever it usually is unless its already formatted to be imputed DX sorry if its too much of a hassle,just thought it might be more easier for the newbies

To change the limit about the 10 un-read messages just change the .ini accordingly.

sorry for the lack of instructions, I've included them in the description now
as for the suggestion, it is really easy to make it act like that if you normally have NO unread messages, but as you can see in my case there are a lot (828 and counting... wow... :)) and it is not that simple, but i'll try to figure put a way to do that
