THANKS for releasing this here, with skinning examples.

Best skinnable notepad in existence.

I hope you'll keep developing it.

That is, of course using the wild assumption that it's your project..

Why I assumed that, I don't know.

Thanks for the kind words, and yes, this is my project :) I'm currently working on some 3D stuff now, so I don't spend any time working on CodePad. If there's anything you'd like to see and it's not too time consuming I'm sure I wouldn't mind hacking on it.

I'd like to see support for .fon bitmap fonts, and a way to hide the main menu -- preferably an option to place it into the right-click menu, for a more minimalistic look. ;)

Okay, I see the main menu can already be accessed through the titlebar.

You could make/modify a skin that does not show the main menu. I think that'd be your best bet for hiding it. Feel free to modify the default skin. (It woul dbe pretty hard to figure out which and how to "hide" parts of the skin correctly for the general case)

I'll have to research .fon bitmap fonts to see how feasable that is. There's still some optimizations that I want to do to make scrolling not so choppy.
