Stardock has released the highly anticipated WindowBlinds 6 today. WindowBlinds is a utility that allows users to change the look and feel of the Windows desktop experience by applying skins to the user interface.

WindowBlinds 6 adds the ability to have “blurred glass” window borders on Windows XP which allows artists to make skins that could make Windows XP look virtually identical to Windows Vista. WindowBlinds 6 adds full support for customizing Microsoft’s new Windows Vista operating system.

Users who purchased WindowBlinds 5 after February 1, 2007 receive WindowBlinds 6 for free. The enhanced registered version is $19.95 or can be purchased as part of Object Desktop.

yeah i got this, and i gotta say it's an incredible overhaul of the whole deal. it's pretty awesome. and i do have to say applying skins is so much faster than before. Before i think it would take like 10 -20 seconds to apply, now it's about 5. And the new skinstudio is fantastic. Highly organized system they put together. My hats off to the entire stardock team for their efforts. :D
