Artist's Note
LaserDock-1.4 OTS2 OK I didnt sleep last night, and I am probably rushing this release, so I will take a twig out of West's nest and pronounce:
This theme is crap dont download it. If you do download it I hope it works :)
its still very buggy! buggy buggy buggy! (scared off yet?)
Wallpaper: http://www.j3concepts.com Icons (included with permission): http://www.customize.org/details/41703 and http://www.customize.org/details/43933
On with the readme:
//// LaserDock by fractal.design (fractal.design@gmail.com)
//// LaserDock is a unique, minimal, stylish and fresh theme. I started writing it to develop the explorer-like drag'n'snap bar layout moving for LS. It ended pretty messy :D Well, the code is still as messy as previous versions, but usability is improved IMO.
//// The hotkey's: ALT ` WIN TAB CTRL ESCAPE CTRL TAB and a left click on the desktop, will all toggle the floating box (!MoveToMouse) if the box is snapped to any side they will do nothing. these are all set in theme.rc
//// Drag the box by the time label on the left.
//// Snap by dragging the box near a screen edge, it will be "magnetised" to the edge, when it is positioned on the edge (side, not the corners which are basically 2 sides), release the mouse button. There will be some delay (depending on your computer speed) before the box actuates itself on that edge.
///////////////////////////////////////////////////// History
////// LaserDock-1.4
This version is OTS2 compatible (NOT compliant!) :) it requires you manually install all the xModules :P
You will need the 0.24.7 core available here: http://www.lsdev.org/download.php?view.53
To install the xModules/xPaintclass: 1. Copy "xPaintclass.dll" from "LaserDock-1.4\xPaintClass_xModules_0707\" to "$LitestepDir$" (where litestep.exe is) 2. Copy the other ".dll" files from "LaserDock-1.4\xPaintClass_xModules_0707\" to "$ModulesDir$" (usually "C:\Litestep\Modules\") 3. Restart Litestep (!quit or kill litestep.exe, then run it again)
Please install the font
Although all the components are now working better than ever, they are still not 100% finished! Remember this when your LS crashes because of me! :P
Warning: Use the wallpaper component only at your CPU/RAM's peril!!!
Fixed: //// UnSnapping the box does not work well if Autohide is on. Using !Recycle for snapdocking. Fixed: Snapping bugginess. !Recycle works like a charm ;) I dont reload, or labelrefresh or any of those new-age type ways of instituting change. They were just to buggy, and slower than actually !recycling, so yeah. I will get around to streamlining it somehow (probably via lslua), but for now it works better than ever. Updated: xModules. Updated: All components. They are all working famously now, though reminder still has some kinks Added: New component QuickLaunch Added: Support for components to be "inbar" and also "inbarend" see Config\Components\Components.rc for obscure placement info. Added but buggy: 2 taskbar line support (just dont have only 1 task! :P)

handy, functional, nice design... yes you need to have the v. 0.24.7, but if you already have that version, you must have this one.

Ya, buggy as hell with the newest exp build of LS. Too bad, because this looks very cool, but I don't want to downgrade. ><

Sorry. Wrong page. This is where i should have written this; "...Components\Reminder\ReminderGUI.lua: 5:'date''format too long". Love the skin. Really want it.. But what about the line i just wrote? :P Pm me about this little issue. Thanks in advance.

As soon as I tried to install this, it said it couldn't find some components, messed up my whole LiteStep, had to uninstall.
