has a distinct linux feel (kde comes to mind) but that's not necessarily a bad thing. the bar is very well laid out and the bevels and borders are very sharp. nice work teschio.

nothing special, but it looks solid and functional and classicist. it would look good with some retro pixel wallpaper, or like, a simcity 2000 screenshot.

Love scrow's glyphs in the menus. I'd recommend slimming the tasks on the taskbar and maybe making a narrow WinAmp above/below the tasks (or something similar to break the taskbar up a little). I don't know litestep, so I may not know what I'm talking about :) BigDaddy, based on your suggestion I just looked at his XP Styles...I just may be a convert. Good stuff, teschio.

The community can always count on teschio to release quality themes. Yes, it is a generic theme, but after a while a eye-candy heavy theme just gets in the way of the work.

There was a visual style I think it was called nxPro that would go well with this.

I would boost the rating if this had a top-bar mode, but since I have to do it myself I had to be a little reserved.

beaker - You may want to try another one of teschio's themes. "Xi01" Similar to this one, but more like a KDE desktop. Another one of my favorites.*update* During my tweaks on this theme, I noticed that teschio is using some older modules. Matter of fact, I think they are the same modules from his "Thin" theme. (Fantastic theme!) Not that there is anything wrong with that, but if you are like me, I will customize the heck out of this. Maybe consider using vtray-1.06 (not the newest so it is tried and true) and maybe xlabel.

Simple and functional, but rather unspectactular. I don't care for the grid pattern on the popup, but otherwise, it's a well-designed theme that works :)
