Nice, styliish kewl rendering ... but the calculator seems a bit hard to operate w/such layout. But I don't want to spoil the score - schate was the best theme set Ive seen

this is the best style skin for xxcalc, anyway its pretty nasty to find the number button i want so i would use the key board.

i personally do not find the scathe series funcitional, but very good looking. this look great but try to use it by clicking. . . . .uh uh aint going to happen. looks great though!!

Candyman: It's a series.... I do make other styles (check ), but i like having everything on my desktop being stylistically similar... & until I'm done w/ all of 'em (softs), scathe won't stop... f'r'instance, the skin i'm working on at this moment is not scathed... much the opposite... (aint tellin for what, yet)

Hate to be a party-pooper and not give you another 100, but I still like this a lot. I too prefer a dark desktop, so the edge-defects aren't really a problem. Good work!

yah, it was set to anit-alias to a dark desk... not intended for light. other skins in this theme are l-ement (finished), wb (tomorrow or thursday morning), winamp (sometime next week) & litestep (near the end of the month). did i miss anything?

Seems that Shoggot made WHOLE desktop theme, including kjofol, efx and more skins... There's smal defects on the edges, but they visible only on bright desktops. I prefer dark desktops 'n' themes...so you've got high score !

I change my review...my older one was when i was younger and more immature (2 weeks ago) i finally realized that scathe is kind of a skinning legacy if you will, so there ya go

hmm, this is kinda outdated.... SysMeter section should be added, sysmeter replaced l-ement in my useage... & I have 3 good skins for it.... meantime, if you have probs getting this to work, edit the start position in the .ini...

Well, I used to love Scathe. Its just so tired. I like brighter backgrounds these days. Im really into psycology, and dark makes people depressed. Well done, however

...uh..uh..it's a Scathe again! Soon I'll have a nightmare : I'm walking on the sharp green edge....green sharp blades around me %-I. But some notes : bottom right corner round bouuton looks kinda offstyle.. never have seen rounded edges on any scathe before....

This is skin is so elite it makes my dick hurt. Im gonna install windows on one of my machines just so i can use it.

as always (as w/ all my skins) I rendered it to antialias to a dark b/g... ie, the jaggies you see here disappear on a dark b/g, which i find is what most people use. On a side note: Duke, spheres have a long tradition in scathe, dating back to my second scathe-based skin, l-ement.. & the departure (though slight) from standard scathed mechanics was deliberate. This format goes beyond anything previously possible.

25 For effort, but seriously, Icons purpose are to simplifiy and enhance the desktop, not clutter and confuse... If you like taking the time to memorize the function of each of these Icons I say go for it... Plus a little smoother job couldn't hurt, looks to 16 color without any antialiasing...

Personally , the whole Scathe series does not apeal to me anymore (maybe if Shoggot made an E theme based on it...*wink* *wink*). However, this certainly is an amazing set. Excellent composistion, design and it ties in perfectly with the pelthora of scathed apps. Keep up the high standard essvid.

These are nice!!! Essvid you did a nice job of emulating Scathe on such a small pallet!!! Yeah i like this alot!! Yeah scathe by any other colour wouldn't be scathe. and nope not tired at all. still new and different it is.

The copland look is inconsistent, icons seeming to switch plan from one to another (pay attention to the printer & laptop vs. various others). Also, they lack a sense of ... umph. You know. The little umph that makes you like a set...

essvid did a damn good job on these, & captured the spirit of scathe damned well... Hell, if I ever pick it back up I'll probably look to these icons for inspiration =)

Although your public ratings seem to be bad in some of your icons it's nice to see a consistant style and good colour work.. shoggot would be proud of this.. definatly an improvment in smoothness and of course the colour is good.. it's scathe

good design, but stop wasting my screen space with these damn HUGE top panels...I think the people that do that should be forced to actually use thier own skins..then they might think about making them huge

I find efx a little unstable so I don't use it, but if I did, this would be one of the ones I'd use. It's "sharp" haha.

i -do- use my own designs, including this one. I run at 1600x1200, & to be honest, the tempatation to make it bigger was omnipresent... but i didn't. I find it a little on the small side.

The part of the whole theme, incuding many skins with similar design...let's see, what Shoggot'll release. BTW, Shogot, if u reading this, why your domain is not responding ? Experienced skinner like U must have a domain, I think.

I haven't d/l'ed it yet, but from the ss it looks pretty cool, it gives off a hand sketched/paintbrush from windows sort of feel.. Its raw, yet interesting.. Though I would like to see a bit of 3D-esque shading on it..

Very very good. I like the whole Scathe style, and it works very well with Codename 2. It works best on higher resolutions.

Seems that SCATHE theme becomes top theme on [customize]...We are waiting when shoggot.com will be opened - sure it'll be kick-ass skinner's website on the Net...And we are waiting for Litestep SCATHE theme :))

hmm, considering the screenshot is only of the main, i should add something. when you click on the connectivity or visual/cg tabs, other cn2 wharfs are opened; they are themed in scathe-fashion, but look quite different from this. The idea is that the main is broad categories, & the subs are actual progs; blanks for everything are in there. Hope ya make yer own; also included is the scathe-themed l-ement, seeing as there's no cattegory for it here (yet). It starts when you hit the l-ement tab (it's a skinnable system monitor). the blank grey tab at the bottom kills cn2.
