Logon screen.

I'm going to change my logon screen, but before I attemp to I want to make sure that the procedure I am using is correct.

Okay, I downloaded the reluna_logon_TWO by xcitininc from . The file contained: the preview, the logonui.exe and the readme.txt

This is what I plan to do:

1. Back up the original logonui.exe (in C:\WINDOWS\system 32

2. Use Replacer to replace the logonui (in C:\WINDOWS\system 32) with the logonui from the reluna_logon_TWO file.

3. Reboot and hope it worked.

Is this a good way to do it?

That method is pretty much bulletproof. Shouldn't give you any trouble at all. Sometimes I wonder how I got by without replacer... boot disks, ugh.

I'm not feeling this.

Me neither. Well... maybe once, but that was becuase of my own severe stupidity. I reshacked the World of Warcraft icons, then replaced the files with Replacer. When I started WoW up... guess what happened... Blizzard (the dev company) didn't recognize it as 'authentic'. So, I had to re-install it (which to a long time 'cause it's about a 4 gig game). Then I had to download all the patches. That wasn't fun.

So if anyone here is a hardcore desktop customizer with sufficient Flash experience, please... :)
