Standar LiteStep theme...
|
Hey all,
Just installed LiteStep and Im gonna use the standar theme for a while until I find out how everything works. Now I would like to know how to remove the desktop icons. I've looked in the theme.rc and step.rc but I can't find a way to remove the icons.

why do you need to use the standar theme to find how everything works? just apply a skin that you like and star messing up!

yeah whatever =P Anyway, got a problem. None of my hotkeys on the keyboard works after I installed LS. The 'windows tab' button (the flag button between CTRL and ALT) doesnt work either and I use that key alot so I would really need help with this.

lmao, dbo I'm going to keep this real simple, don't skip ahead of me and don't even begin to think you'll get a better offer than what you're about to recieve:
A] FUNDAMENTALS 1. search for "Omars Litestep Installer" alternatively go to "http://www.beyondconvention.net/ohussain/lsinstaller/" 2. downlod Omar's Litestep Installer alternatively torrent "litestep_installer-3.0.2.exe" 3. install Omar's Litestep Installer theres no alternative to this sorry. 4. read the documentation provided with Omar's Litestep Installer, if you miss this one you're fucked, understand.
B] BUTCHER YOUR GIRLFRIENDS VECTOR 1. open up Notepad or any ASCII plain-text editor of your choice, use Notepad, don't even think about downloading a third party text editor you've got enough shit on your computer to stir it with a stick. 2. make your way to "/Litestep/themes/Austerity/config/" (using Explorer or any alternative file manager) 3. open "themevars.rc" from your Notepad browse file window. 4. scroll down (with your mouse) to the "desktop icons" section. 5. kill the DesktopIconsOn switch with the boolean condition "false" (keyboard time) 6. save your Notepad document via Ctrl+S or any other means not involving small children and heavy machinery. 7. recycle that whored theme using Ctrl+Alt+R or via the popup menu.
...
alternatively you could have just activated the alt. menu via Shift+Left Click and clicked "Desktop Icons Off". try it with some other conditions and themes, next up I'd download the Nonstep theme and start hacking that up.
...
best of luck my friend.
...
just for the hell of it you should start messing with heylove's suites, seems the whorish thing to do on the block ;]

LOL, well in Litestep none of the (win) hotkeys work, you have to implement them yourself, I bet there's already some hotkeys implemented in your theme and personal vars
stuff like Win+F, left win key, Win+E, all have to be bound with a hotkey module
Sorry I know I"m vague but I just woke up, someone else ought to expound on this :P

after a few seconds of ill-advised research, i present to you this dissertation on the subject of men's jeanswear styles in recent times and what the recent shift towards tighter fitting low-rise jeans is indicative of:

Jealousy and envy. BTW vision is not about hiphop we're about putting out good work. 3 people in the whole group of 17 even like hiphop do your research guys.
