Threadless.com T-Shirt sizing

I just placed an order at Threadless.com for a few Men's Medium shirts. After the order was placed I checked their sizing chart and the Mediums are said to be 20 inches wide and 28.5 inches long. The length especially seems really long. I measured one of my current shirts and it was only about 25-26inches. I know some of you here have purchased shirts from Threadless and I was just wondering if any of you were fine with the sizes and whatnot. by the way, I'm about 5'10" and 135lbs and I love romantic walks on the beach.

im your size, nearly exactly, and i get medium. after it shrinks, it might even be smaller than the shirts you're used to. i order from threadless all the time, and i dont like huge shirts, so i get medium.. ive found large is TOO big for me, so...stick with medium.

You have to remember that the shirts you have no have been washed and shrunk. The shirts at threadless are brand new and have not yet been shrunk. Even if they claim to be "pre-shrunk", they will most likely still shrink a little.

i have bought a few medium shirts from threadless... and although they are indeed longer than many of my other tees, they fit quite nicely...

5'8'' here, and 140ish. Medium from threadless is slightly tight, large is slightly too big. They should have customs, gah.
