Object Dock v1.0 - this is full verison...but free...it's not hacked or simmilar it was just downloaded when it was free!...I got it and I mail it to you 2.Links to download: 10000 Panther icons, y'z toolbar with aqua skin(my verison, just skin), original wallpapers & screensavers...and more

Thats all....Ivor
P.S: sorry for grammar mistakes...i am not from USA or England!
In a few days my custom verison of OS XP NG will be avaible for download...! Changed: 1.Start menu ... looks verry good...(new look and a little suprise...in positon where the administrator's name is written ... now is writing "Mac OS X 10.3 Panther"...but for this to work completly you must open start->run->gpedit.msc->then go to user configuration/administrative templates->START MENU & Taskbar...then select remove user name from start menu...so now you will have mac os x in your start other then user name!
2.All windows are more detailed...and in osxp folder you have some more dialog patterns! 3. Menu background is changed...it's more aqua! 4. Selection buttons are changed. 5. And you will have the real animated mac os X buttons wich are like gif!!!! This is OS XP NG original! 6.Progress bar changed. 7.and lots of other but I really can't remember...i'm customizing this skin for year!
So please be patient for a few days and skin will be uploaded to customize.org!
no offense man but if all that stuff makes my desktop look like yours I'll pass. your idea is good but the execution is kinda poor. if you look through some other posted screens you'll find that many users on this site have mock Mac screens are they are all a little farther along than yours. good luck with the rest of your project.
man, let's be a little less hard on the guy. it seems like this might be your first go at this, but it's a hell of a lot more than I've ever even tried to do. it's not EXACTLY like running a mac, but it's a good start.
First thanks everybody for critics. I wish to say just one thing, this skin is important, not the look of my windows or simmilar. OS X is most beautiful OS, but I prefer windows so do not judge the skin by my icons on toolbar or other not important things. Wait for few days then download my skin ... and you have my permision to take better screenshot if it matters to you at all...so please wait for skin to be complete!
I have noticed that there is not avaible windows verison of Safari web browser... yes there are some custom made safari...but i dont like them...so why don't use what we have allready have? Internet Explorer....wow, this is so easy...first install Tune Up Utillities 2004, after install go to sys. control click on internet explorer link, then view tab and you will find title bar text change...enter the name you want; in our case Mac OS X Safari; and thats all!! There is simmilar option in group policy editor but when activated it can write only Internet Explorer by Mac OS X Safari...thats all .......cya
You know, your shot isn't totally bad, but not the best I've seen either.
The first thing that hits me wrong is that start menu. It just does not seem to fit with what I feel you are trying to do. Maybe give that whole start menu a more flat look instead of such a raised look. It just does not blend well with the bar and the file explorer window to the right of it.
Also, that system tray just doesn't look right using the blue. It should be the same as the rest of the bar but maybe with some sort of seperator between it and the rest of the bar. Well, to me that is. I don't know what the real Mac OS X Panther 10 looks like.
Other than that, it's not bad, just needs some more thought and work put into it.
I'm in the process of making my first visual style. And getting good honest comments is a serious help. Even if they are negative, don't get discouraged.
Yeah, I hear ya there. Being brought up on Dos and then Windows, I just could not get the hang of Mac style interfaces. I even bought a Mac once to find out what the so called craze was, but damned thing just confused the hell out of me I and I put it out on front curb for who ever wanted it.
It's ironic I think. Mac's are suppose to be easier and more reliable than PC's, but I can't seem to figure out how to use a Mac but can fly like a maniac through a PC. Be it Dos, OS/2 Warp 3, Geos Ensemble, Win 3x on up to XP, It all seems natural and intuitive to me. But the darn Mac just boggles my mind!
But! Some of the gui styles from the Mac community are just freaking outstanding (given the windows touch, they work like a gem for XP users).
