So I installed ObjectBar today in an attempt to be a trend-whore and do a little mac-esque emulation (not completely, I'm not a total sellout). So, I have a few questions related to it. Question number 2 is the big one.
1: How do I get a visual style to be applied to the bar at the top? Or, do I have to make a skin for that to work?
2: What I'd really like to do is make a finder bar that acts like the actual finder bar. For example, if I'm using firefox, I want the File/Edit/View menus to be on the finder bar INSTEAD of the window. Same with every other app. Can OB do this, and if not, is there a hack that does?
3: slightly unrelated, but when OB is installed, my system tray in Litestep essentially disappears no matter what theme I use. Any ideas on this?
Sorry for the noob-ish questions, but I'm having trouble finding info on this. My basic goal is to be able to use a finder-style bar that can have my visual style applied to it so it matches.
I wasn't bashing the company, I was explaining why I came here first.
Alright, so I'm going to get OB Enhanced. Can anyone point me to some of the themes that do what I want (put the file/edit/view menus on the finder bar)? I've looked around but I can't tell which ones do that and which ones just have static menus.
2) I guess there is a special way to enhace the Win Taskbar with HTML menus, you need to have the right explorer configuration on the HTML file (java script?) in the right carpet, i dont know much bout "programming" those kind of things. I was looking for some help with that too, cuz i dont use OB. With WB, is enough from stardock...
