It would be nice if someone with some spare time and skills in making visual styles (both of which I lack) could make a visual style based on the excellent cross-platform instant messenger and newsreader Gush.
I don't mean to sound like a troll, but why don't you try learning how to use StyleBuilder and make the visual style yourself?
I know you said you have no spare time, but I find that rather hard to believe. Unless, of course, you're working something like a 112-hour week. But seeing how your profile says your 15, I'm inclined to believe that you've got some spare time on your hands.
I'm glad you actually read my post. I'm actually 16 going on 17, and beyond academics, sports, and community service (A requirement of the academic program I am enrolled in - No, I did not commit any crimes), I'm left with less free time than you'd think. I read news through Gush and like the interface. I have a feeling others would like it as well. I posted to give the program some exposure and see if some skinners were interested in creating a visual style similar to it.
Please don't respond telling me to make the visual style myself, I already stated this is impossible. You mentioned my profile says I'm 15. That's because it's been several months since I last logged in.
Ah. While I'll admit you've got a busy schedule, try taking that and adding college and scholarship applications to the mix. That's just the academic portion of my life. :)
Ive done all the that already, youu have free time. I promise. Its just your choice in how you spend it. Its very understandable if you dont want to spend the hour or two or 3 a day of spare time learning to make a visual style. I dont blame you.
I want to be able to make visual styles, I have the time to learn if I wanted, but I choose to use my free time in other ways. Its just about the choices you make with how you spend your time.
sorry advent, i trump that and add 20 hours employment!
here's my way of getting something done around here ...
"I have $20 in my hand, I will give this $20 to whoever ports this skin, (name goes here), to msstyle."
... and off to work they go.
to put that in perspective i've paid a kid 10c to drop into a half-pipe at a skate park with no prior skateboarding experience *still kicking myself that i didn't tape the carnage to soon follow*.
i'm with frosty on this one, "its not what you've got it's how you use it" (sounds like something they'd teach in sex ed ...).
