really hope that doesn't shop up as a black square on your monitor

it's very dark and as such has lost most of the detail of the original photo.

1) You took a photography not made by you, neither is it free stock - so for publishing it you would need permission of the original author.

2) To give you an honest feedback: it's not much more than a bunch of filters, definitly not worth a submission. As a reference for a good use of Photography in walls I'd like to refer you to the current featured by SirWonkus and this piece by c72: http://www.customize.org/details/36582

Regardless of whether it is good or bad, I applaud you for using the forum to get feedback on your work instead of submitting it and whining about it being moderated.
