so many people have played it becuase only until recently it wasnt made for silly little kids that cant aim. they took a game pre v1.0 that took skill to be good at and turned it all into run and gun blah blah blah dont have to aim for shit to whip a headshot in v1.1 to current 1.6 And for this, Gooseman and Co. should be flogged.
my config : nvidia gforce 5900 (or something like that) 1 17" lcd Acer 1 17" lcd lliama 1 g ram p4 3g2 most recent driver from nvidia, most recent directX 9 and still it does not run... :(
Knarf: i have like the same thing minus the 2nd monitor and hl2 runs great on mine.
is it possible to run with two displays going (2nd one being a tv) and not have that display edge problem where if you move to far left/right your mouse goes off the screen and you get kicked out to windows?
Actually, I have 2 monitors and an nVidia card, and it runs fine. I had troubles at first because steam was lame and wanted to try and run it when it was only 53% downloaded. I left it updating, and tried running it when it hit 100%, and it worked fine.

This game took my heart since that... And now I finished HL2. God! It worth it to wait so freakin' long! God blessed VALVe And now, I hopin', they'll release some kinda official mods (for example, with kicksides - Alyx, Barney, or, may be, Heddy?? :) :)

As for CounterCrack Source, well, it's a little nicer to look at now, but basically the same game. I'm banned from playing it unless I don't have to work the next day.
I thought the game was solid; with the graphics/physics being it's main technological movements, I was surprised that they were able to keep the story semi-interesting throughout the game. Other than that, it was fun, creepy at times, and deathmatch is sick! Flying toilets!!!
Ravenholm has lots of things you can grav-gun Ie deathmatch. Try keeping a couple blades with you, or, you can do like I did and carry around what should be a 300lb engine for cars and lob that at zombies!
