i have been looking at interesting design sites and have rediscovered one of my favorites which is http://www.r-selected.com/ sites this good really inspire me to spend so much more time on everything...a few hours doesn't compare to the many hours the designs here must take. do you have any site that you find awe inspiring design wise?
r-selected is my absolut favorite design site in the whole wide would. when i first found this site i literary spent like at least 2 hours just studying it. i didn't know one person could have so much talent.
i remember emailing the guy at r-selected a few years ago cause i was so amazed and i asked about how he did it...and he was just like 'oh im not very good just a novice with lightwave'
i love how he has like the theme of the 3d stuff invading nature...and how he combines 3d and photography is awesome.
well, i generally prefer futuristic sites with awesome ambience playing in the bg such as disloc and rselected, but http://www.drububu.com is one that i love. i always spend about an hour playing with the splash screen, only to remember im not even at the site yet.

hahah.. one of my favourite sites indeed is r-selected and it's been for the year or 2 i've known it. If you guys remember i used one of his splash pages as my wallpaper in a screenshot here http://www.customize.org/details/22846.
yes shocks, i as well have about 7 wallpapers here on my PC that are works of his that i took screenshots of and made wallpapers out of, i havent publicized them of course.

ahh yes, another thing i love about r-selected and bionic (disloc actually) is the ambience. i pull up those pages and minimize them just to let the ambience play. i would kinda like it if you guys posted links to sites with good ambience also. and dont post things like flashkit.com links and stuff, ive heard all those....ill post one.... http://calpomatt.lavista.org . guy's name is Matt Hanson, GREAT work he does. i also like the ambience at cartwebdesign and the ambience on the 'about' page of subblue.com if any of yall have seen/heard those.

shocks, Sonic meant that he's also made some wallpapers from works at r-selected, but he hasn't used them in such a way that they can be "publicly" seen.

those sites are all very nice also. as enfusion said, ive been waitin for 2advanced to be posted, i thoght about posting it, but i figure everyones been there done that.
