why you'd do that, i have no idea other than you hate those default avi's [ i swear there must be an infinite number or documents in that briefcase, fuck it must be heavy too ].
ok back to this thread. here comes the obvious first step. - open up resource hacker [reshacker.exe] - load your file [shell32.dll] - select the desired animation from the AVI folder [take 150 for example] - two options here [you're going to have to choose at least one] [ option 1 ] - right click the file [look at the AVI folder, look at the opened folder within "150" and right click the resource "1033"], scroll down to "replace resource" and your on your own from there [if you get screwed on the way, select "open file with new resource",locate your new AVI "replace.avi" for example, double click it. click "okay" and save "shell32.dll", do the replacer dance [replacer.exe] and you're done. enjoy.
[ option 2 ] - or if you wanted to be a smart ass you'd select the resource "105", click on the menu "Action", scroll down to "Replace other resource ..." and your on your own from there [if you get screwed on the way, select "open file with new resource",locate your new AVI "replace.avi" for example, double click it. click "okay" and save "shell32.dll", do the replacer dance [replacer.exe] and you're done. enjoy.
[ and that tut worked because i just tried it under v3.4.079, download the latest release from http://rpi.net.au/~ajohnson/resourcehacker ]
