plain and simple: you canīt.

more complicated (intelligence involved):
- move all shortcuts to one side.
- use a blank PNG as separator.
- manipulate the background to have empty space on one side. play with the margins of the background.

Um, it's actually *very* easy to do -- CTRL + click will allow you to move or get rid of any separator. Enjoy :)

thanks a ton Txiasaeia, since it's no longer under production anymore it's hard to find good documentation on its features.

np. This utility is freaking FANTASTIC -- I would have loved to see the author keep on making it on the sly and "accidentally" releasing it upon completion. Of course, he probably got a phat Powerbook or G4 from Apple from discontinuing the program...

It was discontinued but searches on Google find mirrors straight away. I downloaded the newest version literally days ago. Although it is kinda unspoken cause people don't want Apple going to their door. Then again, how come Object and Moby Dock are still allowed to be distributed and used?

I didn't know the CTRL -trick and found out that by editing itemlist.ini in the Y'z dock-directory I could remove and move those separators as much as I liked. (Five hyphens means separator)

mojomonkee, is absolutely on the ball with that one. A lot of desktop mods have been klined becuase of thier promotional basis, as a replacement or identical look n' feel to Apples software products. Apple, with it's low market share is only being prudent in

it has been stated, but just to clarify again, just open the "itemlist.ini" file in the directory and edit out the ------ dashes, which are the separators.
