do you guys from canada think south park is funny? just wondering... the south park movie is one of mah fav movies. i'm not passing any judgements har (mah dad doesn't have a flapping jaw and beady eyes :P), just wondering vaht you think...
"...or even better: they could invent a shirt that cures stomach cramps!"
Yeah, pretty funny - more like clever, actually. Some parts a childish, but I watch it now and then. But as far as cartoons go, nothing beats the sophisticated, tongue-in-cheek humour of The Simpsons.

mah grandparents do go lawnbowling (mah grandad has won several local championships) though. they also say 'eh' alot and pronouce 'about' as 'aboot', and they watch curling on tv... :|

Hehe . . . . well, no one from around here says "aboot." I think they say that out on the west coast alot. I do say "eh" now and then, though. Don't know why. It scares me. At least I don't type it :-)
I can't stand curling. :-)
Wher are u from, Karah?

i am from a horribly arrid place known as california. it is unfortunate that either i get mah genes from dad, or because i spent mah infancy in scotland, i can't stand hot weather. dunno, i have a bunch of relatives in small areas around toronto, and i barely know anything about them. i guess south park is a silly way of perceiving a dorment part of mahslef i don't know. um, i'm going nuts right nah listening to ike sounds over and over...

i dont mind hot weather, i hate cold weather more tho, its really rainy right now in Perth! btw im in Perth, Western Australia, not always sunshine here :(
-:Don't pamper damp scamp tramps that camp under ramp lamps:-
karah: I'm the opposite, spent my infancy in Texas now I'm living in cold scotland, give me CA any day! Do you a swap?
Only met 2 canadians, one sounds english and one sounded american. Neither said "eh" or "aboot", that I noticed, or had flappy jaws and beady eyes.
Don't know what it's like with other countries but we get a LOT of local things like that, people adding "innit", "an-aye", "right", "aye", "like", etc... to the end of sentences.
then there are those of us who have put an effort into disguising our speech patterns, effectively neutralizing someone else's ability to tell our geographic origin or upbringing
"Uhhh...nachos? Did someone say there were some nachos out in the hallway?"
fen: yesh, i have read up on m.s. and yesh, that may have something to do w/ mah disliking of the ca climate. however, mah meds come into play har as well (they make mah sensitive to light). dunno...
mooseskin: i would trade spots w/ you, but then i'd be too far away from mah sweetheart, djbkxr (he lives pretty close by atm ;-)
