I guess most people like terrorism and think it's OK. But think if this happened to another country. That country would want to retaliate too. ok, now; in response to you post SirWonkus, I don't think US will collapse, is still a powerful country, and it will continue that way, not because it wins war, but because is economically independet.

It would be good if every country had their own industries, but, I don't think that is going to happen, because some of the biggest In English:
companies in the world are TOO big and they will continue that way. And the good news for you is, those companies are from US.

Maybe US will no longer The Most powerful country, but it will definitively be between the first ones.

But if you ask me, yes, it would be good if us starts worring more about the intern problems and not the exterior problems. The terrorist attack on 9/11 was like NOTHING ever done before. Never have terrorists made such an impact, so dont go around saying "oh wah other countries have terrorists too." I hate how most people hate the United States right now because they're going along with the ignorant bandwagon. While it's true many have come to an anti-US opinion by reasoning it out, most just say, "I hate Bush - I don't like war, so the US sucks." @hash: So what if 9/11 was bigger than any other attack? It was only one attack. The countries people are referring to have suffered attacks for years, and even decades in some cases. Take that into consideration before you try that "we deserve more sympathy than you" angle again.

i have something for you to ponder.
Would we even be in this mess if people now-a-days (government state local,schools, etc.) used half a brain on what they are doing. I know for sure the secritary of state spends thousands apon thousands of dollars on pointless stuff that they over paid on. For example, those who are over 320 lbs that work at a branch made their union and doctors sign notes for them to get special chairs so they dont hurt themselves while sitting. each costing somewhere around 2000 dollars.
About the issue with others like Iraq and the middle East, if we would have just left them alone (not telling them what to do and enforcing it) would we even be preparing for war. I think not because they would have no reason to hate the US.
