I'm in Southern Ontario right across from the US border into Detroit... The border's closed, the main highway into Windsor Ontario is closed to prevent anyone from entering... (probably because it's a border city) Where is everyone else at? what's going on around you?

Major Govermental buildings & Financial institutions in London, England on alert and evacuated. No fly zone over the capital. All US bound flights turned around or diverted.
i'm in ohio right now (right nere columbus, central ohio). pretty much every organized event is cancelled or postponed. all extra-curicular activities are cancelled for mourning or something (aka, they didn't let us out early). i heard planes would start goign up around 5, at least thats what was said originally when they shut down the airports. not as if i was going to do anything tonight anyways than sit on the computer.
my relatives live in eastern, pa. everything there is aparently shut down. all teh schools let out very early this morning (they're very close to dc). somebody there mentioned that the 4th plane that crashed in summerset, pa, could have been headed toward three mile island. i didn't think it was still active, but i guess there's still radioactive stuff there.
Toronto, Canada here. They evacuated most of the big office buildings downtown today or atleast recommended people leave, and the Toronto Stock Exchange halted trading. I even heard the Palestinian community in Toronto was cheering :(
All the airports in Canada are shut down. International flights that were headed for the US were re-directed to Canada, mostly to Vancouver and Halifax, and the people on those planes will have to stay here.
Also, burn victims from the US disasters are being sent to Toronto and Ottawa for treatment.
Okay this isn't exactly interesting, but I'll add to this thread =)
I'm in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. Considering it is only 100k people (an hour outside Toronto), we aren't a threat, so nothing happened. However, here at the University, classes weren't cancelled although some teachers said they couldn't do a lecture and didn't have class. All the TV lounges were packed and people were sad and talked about it a lot, but nothing was brought to a halt. Also I know someone was opening a bank account and they wouldn't let them deposit a US cheque.
Yeah, i'm also in Columbus (as seen by my domain), my work was closed yesterday, but thats also because i work across from the Ohio State House. Its still surreal, i figure things would have made it back into some semblence of normality this morning... but no, i wake up, and i still can't fathom it... There are more people dead than you will ever meet in your life. All in one horrific day. It unbelievalbe.
