The fact is that there is no reason for that to be added. This would really only be useful of customize had a way to private message a specific user but since they don't there is no point.
"Yeah man, leave the site the way it is. Everyone thinks these guys are taking requests but I really doubt they are. Take it or leave it is what I say."
With all due respect, that would totally negate the purpose of having a message board; let alone a thread started by one of the admins called "suggestions anyone."
Now that I've said that, I think all suggestions are fine, however it is the staffs perogative whether or not they implement said suggestions. I agree with the way SOOPRcow handled it... accordingly.
Bah, I had written a post, but it didn't post during the brief heavy traffic time period a couple hours ago. I am against a list of members online. I would suggest instead a little "counter" that will tell you how many members/users are viewing the site at that time. It would probably look something like:
Once Custo's server gets its memory upgrade, you guys will probably never see that high load screen again. AFAIK, there is a who's online and private message system in the works....but if they're doing it, they are gonna do it right.... so it will take some time.... not gonna be "I want this" and have it delivered the next day..... everyone's suggestions are being considered.... trust me, I've listened to the staff argue over several things... more changes are coming, give it time....
I never logout, since I can't be arsed to type in my pass every time, plus custo would have to implement some sort of timeout on logins for lazy ppl.... not like me you understand ;-P
On a side note (since the subject was slightly raised above), why isn't the Body "bgcolor" on the "High Server Load" splash set to "#FFFFFF", especially important since we are all l337 customizin fr33x0rs ;o) I get my grey workspace colour :-/ (from my colour scheme). It really pains me when sites forget (?) to set the bgcolor!
