there was a cute moment in the 2600 trial, when the MPAA lawyer was setting up a mass-convulted-lead-the-witness question, and the 2600 attorney stood up and in this indignant tone said: "Objection your honor! The prosecuting attorney is not sworn in!"
(not as outragous as the rest, but this one actually happened ;)
Q. When he went, had you gone and had she, if she wanted to and were able, for the time being excluding all the restraints on her not to go, gone also, would he have brought you, meaning you and she, with him to the station? MR. BROOKS: Objection. That question should be taken out and shot.
Q: Did you kill your husband ? A: No I killed my lover. His wife was the other suspect.
Quote of the day, or Name that Song, part many: "I'm afraid expulsion is the only answer. It is the opinion of the entire staff that Dexter is criminally insane." followed by a whinnying horse.
---- Yes, I'm from Holland. No, I don't use drugs. I'm weird enough as it is.
there isn't enough positive posts or message's going on.. and well i personaly think random subjects about nothing are much better.. so anyways .. who saw 13 ghosts? i thought it rocked.
tools new video parabola is amazing i thought i would be bored of the "tool" video style but this is so well done and the song is really good as well the best part about it? you end up with 10 min of a band that isn't pop be'n played on a music station.. i recremend we all scream and shout about how good it is.. and if you can't watch it on tv? hint hint hint phong might be able to help you out people post some usefull stuff at that site.
"What *I* can't believe is that" "I have" "said" "*I*" "was "crap" or "horrid"" - frogboy ..somewhat
yeah, i like tool a lot. they are a great band. all of their music is really involved. a lot of energy between the band mates. lots of layering, gives the music a real 3D feel. Music that really needs to be listened to intently, not just in passing. not to say they are a drug band, but it's great music to fall into after you smoke a joint. you can just sink into. the songs are lot, and there's a lot of really technical instrumentals all through most of their songs.
i just can't say enough good things about tool. although there is a lot of production behind the music, they don't have to rely on that to make it 'catchy' or 'sound good'. when the day comes when their creative resevoir is empty, i feel they are high calibur musicians that won't hire a production artist to make their music more appeling.
i'm finished now. it's a game - see how many typographical erros i've made. :)
