Wallpaper Previews...Where did they Go?

u mean why there isnt anymore daily screen shots of wallpapers?

I think he's having the same prob Colossus was talkin about. FrogStomp- did you mean your thumbnails disappeared? If so, restart you CPU.

Yes Wynton, There are no longer any graphical thumbnails nor previews on this site. Very strange.

And no maxi, I am not so vain as to freak out if one of my walls does not show up here. I am not submitting for brownie points.

Restart my system? Well I have had this problem for a while now. In all my browsers. IE, Netscape, Mozilla, ChimChim.

I'll try a few other Computers to see what is going on. It happened once before, but fixed itself, thought is was just site maintenance or something.

Is what you are saying that nothing from images.customize.org is loading? (right click on the pic area -> properties to tell, except cached ones may show up).

I thought we had this taken care of... is anyone else having these problems? Maybe your ISP is just slow to update their DNS.

ive never had this problem. once in awhile i'll lose like 3/4 of the thumbnails but still be able to see 1/4 of it on the left hand side. but it only happens for some of the submissions.

Happened a couple of times where thumbnails come up with broken links. (walls) Also, when selecting 'details' there are text reviews but no 'Wall Preview' image. Downloads work fine though.

Okay, so I manually cleaned out all my cookies and cache. Also dumped my preference files. Seems to be working now.

Wonder if I got a bad cookie or something?

Can not get this site to work again!! This is soo strange! I have tried everything. It worked for a little bit this morning. but now it is back to brocken thumbnail images/ and never a graphical preview of anything on this site now (since I have cleaned out my caches, re-installed all 5 of my web browsers)

I have even tried Moz on my Linux box. Nothing.

So far. No graphics in customize.org period. downloads work, but previewing is nice.

Tried on my PC win. 98, Linux box, Mac OSX. The only way I can see graphics is if I use Mac OS9. Weird. Weird.

Perhaps it has something to do with my Server? Or is there anybody else with this problem??

It's off to Deskmod, and DeviantArt till I get this kink fixed!!!

My best guess would be there are a lot of users. Ya know- instead of the 'HIGH SERVER LOAD' screen, thumbnails don't load. I'm not sure. Because it only happens to me at internet primetime. If I get up early, its all good.
