I was wondering how you change the graphic in the "view as web page" bar on the left of file folder windows etc.. (ex: http://www.customize.org/details/16058).. if someone could link me to a tutorial or something that would be apprechiated.. also anyone know how to remove programs/settings/find/help from the start menu in 98? thanks :)
The webview is no biggy, the file you should look at is \web\wvleft.bmp in your windows folder. Make your image and replace it, or download Desktop Architect which will do it for you, really a nice app.
yeah finally something simple windows allows you to customize. What is it with windows and protecting useless things? Like I heard you have to go through registery just to rename recycle bin...
Probably cause they're so got damn paranoid about letting other people view their cluttered code.
I guess they are realizing that there are way better systems to choose from asides from windows, and they are holding on to what they have, like a kid holding on to his candybar.
