I beg for help once again

Okay, okay, I know. I have asked for help on this board before. Can't help it, I need it, and you people have it. I am getting better at photoshop. I have done some things with it that I am proud of, but won't upload because of the harshness of many people that visit this site. Regardless, I want to know how many of you get that cool 2-D effect? You know, like Jet Grind Radio looking. I love the look, and I have tried, but to no avail. And while I am at it, where do you guys find these cool anime people to go into a lot of your walls? Any help is appreciated. And just think, if you see my work somewhere someday, you can pat yourself on the back and say, "I helped him get to where he is today"

Dont rely on it, hough, those pics are all copyright, mostly. You should draw anything yourself, or ask someone you know to do it if they can.

And i dont know what 2D effect youre talking about, please submit a link to go

he's talking about a cel-shaded look, basically it's a black outline around an object... some examples can be seen here:

oh... i just thought about this... if you want a really simple black outline, you could do a stroke on the object you wish to have outlined...

When it comes to cell shading 3D stuff (like in Jet Grind Radio), it involves two of the same models overlayed on top of one another, with different filters applied to each. I don't know exactly how it's done, but I do know that it's complicated and takes a LOT of processing power.

The look, however, is easily attained in 2D art through simple coloring. But you need to know where all the shading will go, obviously.
