just wondering who Downloaded Any of the programs used for computer gfx , or who payed for them... and if you payed for it was it really worth paying XXXX amount of $
i downloaded and could even imagine paying for it. becuase im on 16 and im not going to blow my collage money on some thing i dont even *need* yet i downloaded it so i could know how to use it before i even NEED to use it ._.
I tend to use free things (of which you can find an alternative to almost anything if you have the kind of free time I do) and my mom's copy of Photoshop, which she got legally for some class she was taking.

Oh, I forgot the second half of your question. Yes, Photoshop was worth the money, considering that it was quite discounted, and the money wasn't mine.

"Also i dont use p2p clients ... thats for no0bs . i download from ftp servers" -- Lol, I've never been able to get jack shit off an FTP server faster or easier than I could get it off a p2p client. L33t h4x0r w/his h00kupz, haha.

More interesting question ... not legality, it obviously isn't, but has anyone ever considered the ethics of this situation ...
Say you own 3 legal copies (sucessive, not parallel) of a very well known office suite (substitute graphics suite, design tools, whatever floats your boat) that gets more bloated with each release;
Now you wind up needing a newer copy for a valid reason, but most certainly can't afford the price (teenager trying to learn as he goes along / poor student / down on your luck but need to haul in one project to set everything right), which also tends to suffer from a certain inflation.
Is it ethical to acquire it otherwise, in the line of 1) 3 previous copies; 2) demonstrable need; 3) inability to pay?
Remember, ethical, not legal ! Maybe an interesting topic for discussion, because it can be approached from two angles:
A) On the one hand, the asking price may itself be unethical, and it's already been paid 3 times (implicit assertion that the new features don't justify the new price, especially under the relevant circumstances).
B) On the other hand, why then put a man in jail who steals food to eat? Is that ethical, if he sees no other way out, even if only temporarily? Because posed another way, this is the same question we're asking ...
