I was just wondering what everyone uses to create their art? I'm a total n00b to this and I have no clue what is going on yet. I've gotten somewhat more fimiliar with Photoshop 6.0, but no where near even mediocre. But, just wondering what everyone uses so maybe I could mess around and use those programs to maybe create something neat! L8trs

All I use is PS 6, for the most part. I use MAX as well, start with PS though. Live it, learn it, dream it. I learned PS by doing about a million tutorials and just fooling around with it. I still dont know EVERYTHING, but pretty damn close. Also, try to stray from 3rd party plugins while you are learning. Some of them can be nice, but try to make things from scratch, you wont always be able to use the plugins, and it's nice to know how to do it on your own. Hope that helps.

the thing about PS is everyone can use it differently, there are no set rules. Sure there's some techniques that are standard, but most pros develop their own methods....
