Funny thing finding this post having just logged in randomly to see if my account was still functional. Sort of been a lurker for the past few years now. Shifted priorities, yada-yada... you know how it is.
Been 10 years and 11 days as of this comment. I can't believe how old that makes me feel...
wow, i just randomly logged in today and it seems i haven't actually done so in about a year. >_> i'll be at the ten year mark come august. hard to believe...
I came on here randomly to look for a winamp skin, maybe looking at this site 4-5 times a year nowadays, but it's kinda crazy.
I made my account here 9 and a half years ago and lurked for much longer, but this site and the community I grew up around is definitely what made me love design in general.
And now I can say that I have a full-time job in the web development/design industry because of that fostered love, and it's really fulfilling. To those that remember me, I just want to say thanks.
I feel old also. In 2002 I was using a Pentium III 450 with 64MB 10GB.... It was a nice machine at that time (bought in 1999). Now sometimes I browse some stuff at Deviant, more often than here. I really miss some features the old school Custo had before the current design, and a lot of old apps section, like inhotus, but is amazing to be part of this site.
