Getting good looking 48px icons in taskbar?

I have finished a new theme:

Unfortunately most icons look rather crappy because, as I understand, Litestep (xTaskbar-1.4.1.dll) simply takes the 16px or 32px icons and resizes them to be 48px. Even my TangoPatcher folder icons, Photoshop, Google Chrome icon ... all look resized; I think maybe only uTorrent looks OK.

Is there something I can do within Litestep or elsewhere ... or there is nothing to be done?

you can update to a newer version of xTaskbar and use the new resizing filters

you can try make new icons by program for makeing icons.
Each icon have his size version in one file in .ico.
In program for makeing icons you can add 16x16 32x32
version to its ico file.

Thank you chiwou - but I couldn't get any version of xTaskbar2.X to work :( ...

Thanks vener - though it is a lot of work ...

Turns out all I needed was this line of code:

"xTaskbarUseBigIcon"

DAMN ... spent several hours doing stupid things until I saw this is all I needed. Many icons still look a bit choppy at 48px (they look AMAZING at 32px though). It's MUCH better than before. Thanks everyone!

Thanks chiwou - perhaps I'll try again, but for now, the 32px icons resized to 48px look pretty sweet (especially by comparison to 16px resized to 48px).

I've been looking at the documentation for the xTray and there is no "UseBigIcon" feature ... is there something similar? My 32px icons there look a bit pixel-ey.
