bit of help with rainmeter weather problem

I just signed in because HUD Vision's weather thingie wasn't working all day but...now it is. Strange... Perhaps it's your internet connection?

Yeah, it's started working now thanks. Must have been their server or something, my connection was fine the whole time. Thanks!!

Ok... The weather isn't working for any of my Rainmeter themes it seems. I haven't seen the weather come up since yesterday morning or so... Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me? Can AdBlockPlus affect this?

yea the weather isn't working for any my skins either, I tried other zip codes too and still didn't work, don't know what the problem is

its because weather.com switched off their xoap feed to registered users only, probably a sad attempt at trying to make money from people that want to display weather information.. kinda sad to see an informational site cave to such idiocy.. rainmeter is going to use accuweather which demand skin designers and users to display the accuweather logo on their skins.. very lame.

are there any other free feeds that would work?

sorry ther was a problem with the link above - just join the two parts of the link and delete the space after the first & of the 2nd part ;-)

got it to work with this code:

with your partner id]&key=[replace with your key]

sorry bit of a mix up on that code. here is what i did:

to your zip code]?cc=*&dayf=5&link
=xoap∏=xoap&par=[replace with your partner id]&key=[replace with your key]

there should not be any brackets around your partner id and your key.

Well, it stopped working again for a few weeks, Checked back here again, followed all you helpful directions, and now I don't have to look outside the window anymore WOO HOO!!! Thanks all for your help!!!!!!!

Thanks for the HInt i was wondering why my weather skin stopped working, by the way how can i change the Temperature to celcius?

Is there any way to get the weather info to automatically refresh more often than every hour or so like it does now? I'd like to update every 10 minutes or so if possible. I tried changing UpdateRate= but that did nothing.

Also, when I hit the "button" on the top left that is supposed to refresh the weather info, I get a large N/A. What's up with that?

Ok i know this thread is kinda old and I dont kno if anyone will ever revisit this bt i got mine to work by changing the zipcode on the url already provided which was:



i change the zip code 90210 to my country's zipcode and it worked for me. hope this helps anyone!
