It may be too late if Pep (naalo) hasn't started getting things together yet. He's usually pretty punctual about his projects, and he made the Cork last year.
I sent Pep a message about the topic. I know he's been busy with work & such lately so I'm unsure if he'll be able to. Hopefully he gets the message & we'll see. :)
Because I'm having Exams my dear friend, Exams. The only time I can come online is when I secretly switch on the computer for half a second and then notice someone coming towards the room, then shut the screen and jump back on the bed and start studying again. =)
I can't make the Custo' cork jumping from the bed to the computer chair, then back and so on... Unless I'm spider man. =D
I actually really want to make it. But mommie, I can't. ='(
Alright guys/gals. I know I'm fairly new to these parts. But it seems many of the founders/supporters have abandoned or moved on from this place. I know circumstances & peoples situations change with no fault to there own. This isn't directed at Pep whatsoever btw. If enough people want I could lend my services to help out. I'm for sure not the best candidate & if someone wants to step in and do it I'm all for that. But if I could help out I'd be honored & would love to. Here's a sample of what I came up with, keep in mind my skills aren't up to some of the great custo'ers here.
jg, are you using the polaroid generator that pep used? it makes things pretty easy, even though the polaroid effect is very simple to achieve in photoshop. if you took out the country/pushpin idea (which was a nice touch, but only adds to the workload) and extended the deadline for picture submissions, i think you'd have something going here. maybe even call it the 08/09 custo cork.
i'd put up a thread at GSM too, get some of the old schoolers in on things. even though this site has been taking a dive for a while now, they all remember the glory days and i'm sure they'd support anything that could potentially mean a return to the ways of the past at custo.
i have the corkboard background pep used too, if you're interested.
