Good morning everybody!
Another day in Gaia Land just started and I wanted to read your Messages sent to my Customize Account. First I just tried to approve new friend requests. I clicked on "You have new friend requests" and logged out. I logged back in. Clicked on new messages. Logged out. Logged back in.
This is just a discussion no planning intended. But yesterday I had the thought of creating a Domain for GAIA. Having its separate Forum which will be only open once a year for the organization of the Project. The Website will hold the core release and a Link to Customize.org for more submissions related to GAIA.
I am really not sure about this since GAIA is really a Community Project which started here on Customize. And I like Customize a lot. On the other hand its hard to keep everything updated here being logged out several times.
What do you think about this idea?

I found a great idea, but I think we have to form a team to take major decisions of German you. But of course so if you have the time available, and everything to clarify the doubts.

Yeah wow the servers here are so unstable, I hate to be the one to say go for it & jump ship, but unless things change around here I think you may be on to something.
It's cool you want to still keep it rooted to here in some aspect and whatever the decision is I'm sure you have the support & respect of the community.

Yeah, I agree. I wasn't even able to load the site for two days (I kept getting a proxy server error....)
And its not just my computer/internet connection because I tried at home, at school, at the coffee shop...its getting ridiculous.
So yeah, I definately would support setting up a seperate forum for GAIA.

Okay. We made a decision now.
Gaia is going to become a FOUR IMPRESSIONS based project. That basically means it will be hosted by us instead of Customize. The site will look and work the same and hold the whole core release. All of your works will be linked like it happened on the old Customize subsite.
I hope this will make the release more enjoyable and we have a easy and fast website.

I think its a great idea.
what about the WIP kind of stuff, is that going to still be based here?
