Looks real nice! Maybe use lighter colors on the audio player. That makes the font look not to clattered. Cool the Advent font looks so smooth!

I gt a copy of jg's CAD and made some minor changes to it (mostly with the functionality - the buttons were sometimes a bit finicky). It works brilliantly so far, and props to jg for all of the work he did on it. There's a preview the version I just modified here:

imo pep those contact icons should have some color in them, they'd fit well with the rest of the theme/icons to me guess.

HEHE, that's sweet, I would go with rounded non-alphablended corners on the bottom (black) and not completely follow the CAD skin, it will look more tight.

just to throw in my 2 cents. i think jg's second concept should be considered for the more minimal vs.

naalo, thanks mate. I'm having real problems getting alpha blending to work nice with skincalc though. Its all bitmaps not png, so you have to use an alpha mask, no matter how I try I can't get it to look any good. I know it is possible though. Anyone think they could help me with that?

Well you can't get rid of jagged corners completely unless you match it to a wall, but it can improve a little, i'll have a look at it.

Meanwhile, are some suite updates, the shutdown is WindowBlinds too...

lol @ bernadinho: I just noticed that on the music player, the next button was left of the previous button. Just thought that seemed kind of wierd.

Great how you fitted it al in there, Winamp classic is hard to use with this design. I would maybe lose the three coloured topright part and just use the most right colour, just as on the Litestep popup, to make it less busy.

The Samurize config looks good too, only the fonts don't seem very sharp.

meh, not so sure about the black in the playlist :( what do you think?

I like that, maybe take on of the lighter dark grays from the titlebar, but still... great work on the font too!

I think the playlist could look good in gray, but a little contrasted from the gray in the rest of the playlist's window.

yeah, I agree with naalo & pd as well. Maybe a different font on the song ticker? It just seems a bit out of place when compared to the smoother playlist font :) but w/e its looking good :D

I also had some time to make more CAD skins - specifically more minimal ones to match the bb4win :D



The "Original" is basically jg's mockup - with a few font changes here and there.

The "Small" has hidden next/previous buttons that appear only when you hover over them (the two black buttons next to the bulge at the bottom)

The "Extra Small" has a play/pause button on the left (the black arrow) and a seek bar above the colored bar :)

I'm not too sure about the buttons on the second one though...criticism is appreciated :) I'll hopefully have a fullscreen version soon as well ^^

but you should delete the white 1px line on the left side of the "original" version ;) and maybe add some more rounded corners on the small and extra small version but that's just my personal taste...
