May have screwed a couple things up... Help please?
|
I've been fiddling around with a couple custom .msstyles, and I believe I've messed a few things up, and I'm not sure how I did it, or how to fix it. Help, please?
This font is too small! No idea why or how to fix... http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/jester999/dadb8a8a.jpg
Using Milk, I think the icons are too big, causing the problem.. solution? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/jester999/23e027a0.jpg
Why are these images out of place? http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y19/jester999/a8b670fc.jpg
If it might help, I recently got Stylish, haven't really tried to use it yet, haven't done much with Firefox, don't know what's causing the last bit...
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! (Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm a little new to this.)

hmm... well the font problem should be an easy fix... if you haven't already tried this, see if the text zoom on your browser is set to 100%
view>text size>normal
as for the other problems, do they persist when you change your visual style? (just make sure the VS is the actual culprit)
lol but at this point I'd say the best solution is to change your VS ;)

Yeah, I managed to figure that one out, the font size bit, I mean... Still don't know how the hell it happened, but, at this point, I just want some of this stuff out of the way.
Yeah, the one related to Milk is solely because those icons are so damn big... I was just wondering if there was a way to scale them without going in and editing the image files (I'm not so hot with Photoshop, it'd take me ages, though I may end up doing just that)
The Firefox site is as screwy as ever... I'm really not sure what's up with it, it's the same way with all msstyles (that was the first thing I tried) and I don't think it was that way before...

I think thats a problem with the height of the buttons in the VS you're using, not the icons.

Problem 2 has to do with button height, as raoul said. Switch to a different style temporarily when you change those options.
And the 3rd problem is probably a rendering problem, either from the site or from FF.

Alright, thanks. It was the ff bit that was worrying me the most, I really didn't know what to do about that... I was sure that site looked normal before I started playing with styles...
Yeah, I meant buttons. I don't have terminology down yet, I'm still pretty inexperienced at this. I need to find some freeware program, or a beginner's guide or something...
Thanks, all.
