That competition was pretty much dominated by bloated default docks and other useless eyecandy. Starting out, it was 3 groups of contestants; Windows, Linux, and Mac. Because of too few submissions in the Mac category, they decided to throw in a Windows and a Linux shot that didn't make the cut in their own categories.

There's to be a "super-finale," where the winners of each category is put up against eachother.

imho, those responsible for choosing the contestants to vote for, haven't got much of an eye for design. Disappointing, really. :(

They haven't acquired good tastes yet. :P
