Adz on IRC a few weeks ago: "Just so you know, I will be taking down voidbox"

I censored out the 5 million flame words from the above sentence, too. Last month's uber-spamming of the voidbox guestbook and comments by yours truly is enough reason for me to keep picking on him.

Someone is sure geting a lot of love from people at da.......

Let me tell you the full story,

Before I used "fifteen" flame words and said that I was going to take the VB website down I was abused by m1n1mal himself.

After days of "happy" talking and "buttering" he made me trust him. I thought I had rebuilt a friendship...then he talked me through using a firewall in mIRC. I thought it was cool, he gave the ip and everything. When I did it I found my computer being controlled by him (because I was connected to his IP). He used a bot to send silly messages on my nickname in the #nuance channel. I was banned from this channel originally but he told me he was getting me unbanned - I thanked him for this not knowing he was tricking me. Then he also sent the shutdown command to my computer as well as a bot which deleted my mIRC uninstall file.

When I re-entered the voidbox channel he was laughing out loud - saying it was payback! This led me to become infuriated and I flamed him and threatened to mess the VB website up (although I do not intend to do this - nor do I know how to do it)

So there you go - he started by hacking into my computer, and I just got a little angry. I know m1n1mal is going to go over every word I have just written and point out all of the mistakes - but....there you go!

...and I don't care about what people say about my submission for SSC08 - I personally love my screen and find it works for me everyday - I would be a mad man if I took all the criticism.

Also I appreciate the fact that some people understand the reality of the situation (ganging up and hatred).

You forgot about how you attempting to ddos me kinda triggered it all...and the crapload of spam on voidbox. And yes, I'm not going to lie about the mirc trick - that did happen, and I will admit, it was hilarious while it lasted.

And I'm done with stuff like that, I just was ticked off by all the spam and threats.

I informed you that the ddos was just a little test with a new tool that I had acquired. I only let the script last a few seconds - so you just got a couple of extra hits.

I actually did not send the hundreds of spam across to VB - you did admit that it was a spam bot and that you'd set up a spam 'captcher' for it.

Yes I agree - but on this particular occasion there has been no such action or retaliation - I uploaded a shot to the website and he decided to play more jokes.

What in the world is that supposed to mean? I dont really wanna get involved with this nonsense between the two of you'll, but this is addressed to me. I havent put up any journals on DA since the beginning of the year. There are quite a few respected members from here, PJDark, Pepi, Novoo, Excess who watch me there, and you can confirm with them.

I did put in a note on the screenshot submission asking people to give me a vote if they liked it, but everybody has done the same, Thomax, Nitzua, Noka, Pepi, et all. And I put in that note after seeing everybody else's subs, because I didnt wanna come in last :P

Yea, well there's nothing wrong with deviantart peeps, and please dont get me involved with this. As far as Im concerned the SSC08 is just a nice way of breathing some life into this place and it's definitely been needed. It's not that important to me about winning because Im just here to take part and watch peoples subs. Gives me some cool ideas on things I can do with my own desk.

For the record, I never steal. There were a couple of times when I first joined this place and made a coupla nubby winamp skins on my own based on foobar configs from Pepis screenys. Pure pettishness (Im lovin that word today). Akkas VS was brilliant, but the original inspiration remains the winamp skin by Blueslaad. When Tosta and me made it, we did it on our own without using his VS. So we credited Blueslaads awesome skin but also mentioned all the great screenshots that were made based on it. There wasn't just Akkas that I had seen before, but Calibans and NickDCs too.
