Help with Styler Toolbar

raoul says:

Hey guys, Im having a little trouble with styler toolbar. Here's a small picture to explain.

http://img247.imageshack.us/img247/6541/buglh0.png

The styler bar disappeared totally from my explorer window, and it's also greyed out from the View> Toolbars menu, so I cant enable it. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Styler, but the problem remains. Does anybody know why it happened and how to fix this?

Thanks much :)

Hm.
Have you recently reinstalled/updated Styler?
Try an older version if you can find it.
And have you tried applying a TB style from the Styler window? That should make it appear automatically.

I hope so Riggin Slinger.

Thanks Excess. Hadn't done a thing when that happened. It went away out of the blue, really strange. I'll try finding an older version. Reapplying a TB style didn't work, I tried that first :P

No idea why that's happening then.
But I don't use the Styler's TB much, just the quick theme alteration. The backspace key is enough for me, combined with FindeXer.

Figured it out Excess. Thanks much for the help :)

Here's the fix in case it happens to anybody else. The Styler Toolbar plugin was not enabled in the list on addons for Internet Explorer. You can this in the internet options.

Haven't a clue how it got disabled because I never use IE, but anyway... now we know what to do ;)

I'm still having this problem with my IE. Both my Styler Toolbar *and* FindeXer aren't working anymore (yet they work on another name that's logged on my computer...which is even more confusing). I tried the method you mentioned, to no avail. I'm going to try an older version of them, but somehow I doubt that's going to work. :\ So odd. Just out of the blue this happened to me, too.

I downloaded a new update for Internet Explorer 7, then uninstalled both, reinstalled them, and enabled them in IE the way raoul suggested, and they are both working now! :D

i know how to fix it i had the same problem.

open internet explorer up and click on the tools drop-down menu and then click manage add-ons. There should be another drop-down menu click enale or disable addons. a box will appear find styler toolbar and click it then underneath it there should be enable disable options click enable and it should work. (may have to restart)

1. open all programs>accessories> system tools> IE (no add ons)
2.click tools
3. manage add ons
4. enable styler toolbar
5. finally open ie 8 and then right click on toolbar
it shows that styler toolbar is unchecked but
