Save this following text (beginning with Windows Registry Editor...) to a .reg file and open it. Then go into the Themes tab on Display properties and select "More themes online..." and it will take you to Customize.org!
1. Click Start 2. Click Run 3. Type "regedit" (no quotes) and click OK 4. In the left part of the window navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion \Themes\DownloadSites\100 5. Double-click URL on the right side 6. Type in "http://customize.org" (no quotes) and click OK 7. Quit Registry Editor 8. Right-click the desktop 9. Click Properties 10. Make sure the Themes tab is selected 11. Click on the theme selector 12. Click "More themes online..."
For people that like to customize every aspect of their PC (like in the old days of VP) this is nifty and cool. Especially if you can add multiple options. Good find.
However I may be blind or just tired, but I don't see the "more themes online..." thing in display properties.
hmm i think this is actually very cool, not that i'd ever use that link, but still, you could use it when you set up someone's system and make it go to a really weird place...
This is quite a nice find. I don't often use that link but the fact that you've done some investigating into it, to make it that little more custo-ish is cool.
