Nothing you can do about it. The administrators of the site, I don't think have ever implemented a way to delete the account. Even with the old Customize.
You can however do what I did. To get rid of my old account, I just deleted every submission and picture, then left it to die. It's the only thing you can do. :( Sorry.
Not sure why you would want to leave and its not a big deal to have show up in google searches, its not like anyone can get personal information about you. If you want to leave the best I can do as a mod would be to delete everything of yours including comments and private messages and then ban you. That way any search query entered with google would just be directed to a banned profile with no access to information.
There should be a way to remove you account data. You should always have control over your own data. This is an account I setup years ago, just found it after searching for an old online gaming name on the net. It's even linked to a now non-existent email account and has an awful old password of mine.
I agree with you Toxik. One should be able to remove their own account. I am a mod and I brought this up in the past.

Good question and one I do not have an answer for. I will say that the admin that made me a mod did not return my last email and has been inactive on the site for over a month. Very strange seeing he's been here since 2001.
