Halo in my opinion is a mediocre game, all 3 of them. The only good point to all 3 is the story.

@ amp mediocre? are you kiddin' me? There's nothing mediocre about halo. Multiplayer is kick ass.

yeah mediocre isn't a fair assessment by a long shot. halo 3 is phenomenal. i couldn't care less about the story; i haven't played any of the campaigns all the way through, and i don't plan on it. multiplayer is very kick ass.

there is positively no better experience on a console available. for that reason, pc gamers cannot correctly gauge it's awesomeness, if that's where anyone is coming from

I agree with nitzua. Tho, it was campaign mode that orginally introduced the game to me. And when I do finally get the game, I will beat the campaign mode too. Multiplayer is the best part, by far. I do prefer my FPSs on console as opposed mouse and keyboard. It just "feels" right.

Buying into the Halo franchise just doesn't interest me, never has. I've always considered it hype without pay off. To much anticipation only to find the bot AI unpolished, unimpressive graphics and repetitive game-play methods :(

Mind you that is my opinion on Halo.

I've played all 3 Halos and I find nothing really good except the story. Mind you I haven't played the multi-player. But then again, I don't do much online play, even though my Ps3 and Xbox360 are online.
