Right click menu hack
|

I need some help. I successfully hacked my explorer right click menu ages ago to display the Start menu programs list.
Problem is... I can't figure out how to get rid of it, or in fact how I even achieved it in the first place.
Can someone help me locate the method of removal. A registry key or the .reg file to remove (there was one but I can't locate it again).
Thanks in advance :D

It's called the GriGri extension or something, found at Virtualplastic.net I think.
If you download it again it'll have a .reg key to remove it.

You are correct Pyro, it was GriGri's extension.
It however is not any longer available online.
I have managed to change the parameters using a registry key, therefore solving the problem until I can be bothered to polish the job off by removing all the keys.
Many thanks for your help :D

You're quite welcome.
And it's a shame it isn't online anymore. We really need a better archive of old programs and such that aren't maintained anymore.
I tried to find IconPhile for a friend's computer yesterday, and ended up having to use CandyXP IconTwekaer and going through the properties to get the majority of her icons changed.

Meh. It hadn't worked on her PC. But I've got it now and it's all good. Her icons even changed fully before I got it -- three programs later.
